Are you tired of us girls having no voice when it comes to game reviews, tech reviews, and more? Not a fan of video reviews and want to have something writen by a fellow female, Neurodivergent, or disabled creator? Or even...just want to find cute things that the male dominant industry makes you feel like you aren't a real gamer because of?
My name is Peachy.
Like you, I have struggled with people constantly making me feel like a game wasn't meant for me because I was too girly or because I'm "not a real gamer." Like you, I also love cute things of a variety of colors and themes.
All these big sites like IGN, RPGSite, Gamespot, and more are lead by a male dominant team, not being a voice for us girls. Infact, many big industries end up having an unfair balance between Female and Male workers, which can get really frustrating!
So I decided it was time we had a site from the ladies of the gaming world and shopping world.
My goal with this site is to definitely focus on reviews, be it games, stores, or even the technology, but give it from a female perspective.
I am really new to all of this, so I appreciate patience while I get a good system going, but let me just elaborate on my system so far:
I plan to work based on a 10 point system. This system will be called Peaches instead of stars though, because we gotta keep it cute! I'm not sure the category for shops and tech yet to scale, but for gaming I plan to look at a few things:
Quality
Bugginess
Objectives
Replayability
Longevity/Potential
Of course there will be other things, but these are the biggest focus for the overall peach score.
Next, I intend to rate on a whole separate scale The Cozy Factor. Or Cuteness Factor for some. This will range from Sweet Peach, being fully cute or cozy like Palia or Animal Crossing, to Burning Peach, which will represent the more aggressive and gore games like Remnant or Elden Ring.
I will try my best to include plenty of images and detail as much about how the game works within the post, such as simple gameplay mechanics, unique mechanics, what the story is about from the point I am at, and more as well.
